An early fragment of the New Testament

P52 (a fragment of papyrus with writing in Greek) is on display in the John Rylands Library in Manchester, UK.

 

This ancient ‘scrap of paper’ features a snippet of John 18:31-33 and 37-38. It has been dated to the early part of the second century, part of a myriad of textual evidence that helps to corroborate the authenticity of the New Testament.
